Women around the world would like to have at least a little bit of her charisma. Wouldn’t you? I bet most of us would. If we only had some of her beauty, voice and happiness! Why? Beyonce is a strong woman.
Huge success, huge pressure, only good decisions, no scandals. She is beautiful, talented and focused. A few weeks ago Beyonce gave birth to twins. Today she’s a mother of three. Wow, and we still see her in red high-heels in „Crazy in love”!
Since she can be a role model – as a business woman, singer, designer and actress, perhaps her view on raising children and motherhood can also serve as inspiration for someone. This is a rhetorical question, because it certainly does! Well, after all she’s the Queen, and Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir are proof that in this crazy world full of luxury, the family still comes first, and the woman, if she’s about to give in to anything, it’s an instinct to become a mom.
Motherhood is a challenge, especially for those women who don’t want to give up their previous lives and want to stay active, to develop and at the same time be the best mothers in the world. Bey says:
” Only for the reason that you became mother, doesn’t mean that you have to loose who you are”.
These words are extremely important nowadays, when women are looking for some balance between being a mom and a professional. „I have so much admiration for women who are mothers, who balance family and work. I see them and I have this word in my head – respect,” she said. „I also look to learn. I see these women and I think, 'Yes, it can be balanced, it can all work out’.” Of course, it can. Beyonce notices something else, too: „The old lessons of submissiveness and fragility made us victims. Women are so much more than that. You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist – whatever you want to be – and still be a sexual being. It’s not mutually exclusive.”
How many times in the last few weeks have you talked about a female body, the post-natal body – whether it’s not fat or similar to the shape of Ania Lewandowska? Have you asked why so many women don’t look exactly like before pregnancy and where this social pressure to be perfect comes from? „Now, after birth, I really understand the strength of my body. I feel that my body means something completely different.” Well yes, it’s easy for her to say. But on the other hand, every woman should write down this sentence and hang it on the fridge, in plain sight.
Written down? Hung? That’s great! The most important thing is that although we differ so much, we have one thing in common – our day is only 24 hours long. And it depends on us what thoughts and actions will fill that time. I wonder, what has Beyonce inspired you to do today?
